Ruiz-Clavijo Capitán Fanegas Grand Terroir 2011
D.O.Ca. Rioja
Experience the pinnacle of Rioja winemaking with the Capitán Fanegas Grand Terroir 2011, an exceptional blend of 90% Tempranillo, 7% Graciano, and 3% Garnacha. This wine is crafted from select vineyards, including the notable La Noria and Los Olmos parcels, known for producing grapes with exceptional personality and finesse.
Winemaking & Aging
The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested in 12 kg crates, ensuring optimal quality. Fermentation occurs in small concrete tanks and 500-liter French oak bocoyes, followed by 26 months of aging in French oak barrels. An additional 26 months in cement tanks allows the wine to refine, preserving its fruit purity and expressing its unique terroir.
