Welcome to Vintners Wines!

Here you'll find everything you need to know about our delivery process, including options if you are not home at the time of delivery and the specific regulations related to alcohol deliveries.

Explore and Order with Ease

Enjoy browsing our extensive selection of wines. Feel free to order by the bottle, allowing you the freedom to taste and experiment. Note that a minimum order quantity may apply for selected wines in original wooden cases.

Delivery Options

  • Home or Workplace Delivery: Have your order delivered to your home or workplace.
  • Pick Up in Abcoude: Option to pick up your order at our location in Abcoude.

Delivery Services

During checkout, you can choose between the delivery services of PostNL and DPD. For larger or more expensive orders, we also offer specialized wine transport when needed.

Delivery Information

  • Frequent Shipping: We ship at least twice a week and always strive to get your orders to you as quickly as possible.
  • Shipping Costs: Free shipping in the Netherlands for orders over €100, Belgium and Germany for orders over €150. Rest of EU, always €20 shipping costs.
  • Holidays: Delivery times may be longer during busy periods like Christmas. Contact the delivery service's customer support for specific inquiries during these times.

Regulations for Alcohol Delivery

  • Identification Requirement: Effective from July 1, 2021, 18+ identification is required upon delivery.
  • Recipient: Packages must be accepted by a person aged 18 or older with valid ID.
  • No Neighbour Deliveries: Packages cannot be delivered to neighbours.

Important Reminders

  • Track & Trace: Monitor your delivery status and any updates using the provided Track & Trace information.
  • Age Verification: Ensure someone aged 18 or older is available to receive the package.

Delivery Options and Services

  • Regular Delivery (PostNL and DPD): Deliveries to your home or a chosen pickup location with mandatory age verification upon receipt.
  • Specialized Wine Transport: Ideal for larger quantities or more expensive wines. Includes original packaging and insurance.

Pick Up Your Wines

Choose this option to avoid shipping costs. Collect your order at Doude van Troostwijkstraat 13, 1391EP Abcoude by appointment only. You'll be notified when your order is ready.

If You're Not Home

  • Age Check: An 18+ age check is mandatory upon delivery.
  • No Drop-Off: Packages will not be left without proper identification.

Insurance for Damage

All shipments are insured. Report any damage within 24 hours to info@vintnerswines.nl.

Different Delivery Address

You can enter a different delivery address during checkout.

Note on Packaging

While we aim to deliver in original packaging, this may not always be possible for all orders. If original packaging is unavailable, we'll find a suitable alternative.

Changes to Chosen Delivery Service

While we strive to respect your chosen delivery service, changes may occur due to strikes, understaffing, or peak periods. You'll receive Track & Trace information regardless of any changes.
