Tasting note Robin Fennis: “Boiolo 2019; the very first vintage of this single vineyard Barolo. A higher 420m alt. from a clay-dominated soil. Generating a beautiful nose; a blend of roses, ripe red forest fruit, a light soapy touch, and cured meat. Med+ acids and fine grainy tannins. This shows some development already. Balanced, complex, juicy, and nicely rounded in the finish. Very good, and only 1800 bottles…. 17 pt” (November 2024)
