Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), Weingut Bärmann, Merdinger Bühl 2023, Baden
A rich and characterful Grauburgunder with depth and elegance. In the glass, a medium yellow hue. The nose reveals floral sweetness, ripe mirabelle and apricot, followed by toasty aromas and fine vanilla from barrique aging. On the palate, juicy mirabelle and apricot intertwine with smoky minerality, zesty lemon acidity, and a delicate salty touch. Structured and long, with refined oak and a hint of stone fruit pit on the finish.
