Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon – Bordeaux – France

Pavillon de Trianon White (2023) is the result of two years of patient and meticulous research to identify the perfect parcels that capture the richness of the Bordeaux terroir. This blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sémillon is distinguished by a beautiful pale gold color, bright and crystalline. The nose is highly elegant, combining the aromatic power of Sauvignon with the finesse and precision of Sémillon. On the palate, it is a delight of freshness and balance, where the body of the Sémillon beautifully supports the liveliness of the Sauvignon.

The 2023 vintage is a harmonious wine with great aromatic generosity. Thanks to the aging process (of which 25% took place in one-year-old oak barrels), the wine has gained extra depth and character without losing its essential freshness. It is the perfect companion for seafood, fish dishes, and especially oysters.

About the estate Château Trianon has deep historical roots dating back to the 17th century and is located just outside the medieval village of Saint-Émilion. In 2000, the estate was purchased and revitalized by Dominique Hébrard, former co-owner of Château Cheval Blanc. Under his direction, Trianon has been transformed into a modern domain with a focus on precision and elegance. The parcels for the white wine are located on the clay-limestone hills of Lestiac-sur-Garonne and Rions, giving the wine its characteristic minerality and structure.
