Tasting Notes: Barolo Bricco Rocca Reserve 2010 presents a beautiful garnet red color with delicate orange reflections. The nose reveals rich aromas of over-ripened grapes, with warm, honeyed, ethereal, and floral notes. An ensemble of plum, cherry, mint, truffle, and caramel aromas unfolds, offering depth and complexity. On the palate, it is broad, tannic, and enveloping, with a long, velvety finish. Despite its powerful structure, the wine shows remarkable balance and elegance, with excellent aging potential.

Tasting note Robin Fennis: “Bricco Rocca riserva 2010; made from 85-year-old vines, clay soil. Little browning visible. In the nose hints of syrup, roses, violets, dried meat, smoke, fading fruit. Med+ acids and tannins, juicy, still light, and mildly spicy. This is delicious but can age a whole lot more. Yum. 17/18 pts” (November 2024)
