Il Borro - POLISSENA 2019 Valdarno di Sopra DOC

A Definitive Sangiovese: Strong Character, Refined Elegance

Polissena is considered an 'act of love' toward the Sangiovese grape, showcasing its expressive and elegant potential within the distinct terroir of the Valdarno di Sopra DOC in Tuscany. This wine is crafted entirely from 100% Sangiovese grown on schistose soils, which provide excellent drainage, resulting in an elegant wine that surprises with its strong yet refined character. The 2019 vintage enjoyed a regular summer and high temperature ranges in autumn, leading to optimal grape ripening and an overall high-quality harvest.
