Il Borro Chardonnay 2024 is the ultimate expression of the estate's philosophy: achieving the highest potential of a single variety. This 100% Chardonnay combines the refinement of the grape with the great structure and elegance characteristic of Il Borro’s most iconic wines.

Sensory Experience

• Appearance: A brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections.

• Nose: An intense bouquet of citrus and yellow pulp fruit, layered with creamy butterbush, vanilla, and Mediterranean hints of rosemary and sage.

• Palate: A complex and elegant white that masterfully brings together vibrant freshness and a full, rounded body.

Craftsmanship & Production

The 2024 vintage benefited from a balanced growing season, resulting in a wine with lower alcohol and persistent mineral and floral notes. To achieve its depth, the wine undergoes a sophisticated fermentation and aging process, split between stainless steel, clayver, acacia barriques, and oak barriques. It rests for 10 months on fine lees and an additional 12 months in the bottle before release.
