The Unique Story Behind Domaine Sermage
We are delighted to introduce you to a gem we have discovered.
Wines all have a story, and that is certainly true for Domaine Sermage from Pouilly-Fuissé, Burgundy. For the first time, these wines are available outside of France, and this is the extraordinary story behind this exclusive discovery.
It all began in my uncle's wine cellar, where I found several bottles from 2009 from this estate. Curious, I opened one, and the wine was still stunning: low in acidity yet elegant and vibrant. This was the spark that led to a months-long search.
After significant research and many emails, I finally received a response from Isabelle Sermage, the seventh generation of this esteemed winery. Despite her age, she still works the vineyards daily with unwavering passion.
Domaine Sermage is a true micro-domaine, producing only about 1,000 bottles per year. After months of calls and emails, we succeeded in placing an order and secured only a very small allocation of bottles from the 2023 harvest. A unique French gem that you can now discover with us.
