Tempranillo & Cabernet Sauvignon, La Misión, 2023, Rioja, Spain
A classic Rioja red with a modern touch. La Misión 2023 combines the roundness of Tempranillo with a subtle hint of Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a wine that’s fruit-forward, gently spiced, and easy to enjoy. This well-balanced blend showcases the character of Rioja’s traditional grapes while adding structure and depth.
Vineyard & Harvest:
Sourced from vines aged 15 to 35 years, rooted in Rioja’s varied soils. The grapes are manually harvested, with strict ripeness and quality selection upon arrival at the cellar to ensure only the best fruit is used.
Vinification:
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures between 25–27°C over 10 days, preserving fruit purity. This is followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, allowing the wine to soften and develop complexity before release.
